The Homeowners Alliance of Sugar Grove was formed in late 2005 with four subdivisions’ homeowners associations participating – Bliss Woods, Windstone, Windsor Pointe and Black Walnut Trails. Currently, with the addition of Windsor West and Walnut Woods, six subdivisions make up the Alliance. The Black Walnut Trails representative is Jim Quinlivan.

The most recent joint effort organized by the Homeowners Alliance was the multi-subdivision garage sale on May 30 – 31 2008. All Alliance member subdivisions participated and all member HOAs contributed to advertising in suburban newspapers. Other initiatives include exploration of a 25 MPH speed limit for all subdivisions and coordination of the Village building permit process with HOAs’ architectural review.

The Homeowners Alliance is currently working on several initiatives and acts as a liaison for the HOAs with the Village of Sugar Grove.
